There are times when I wake up in the morning and go to myself, Liz, you’re gorgeous!

I do this because I wake up alone, in an apartment with no cats (thank GOD), no Lean Cuisines in the freezer, but also no man in my bed. THEIR LOSS!

But then I watch an episode of Dateline or 48 Hours and I think, hey, it could be worse. My husband/wife/lover/stalker could brutally murder me and then my family would be interviewed by Keith Morrison which, honestly, my brother Andrew would LOVE even though he’d be sad that I was dead.

A man among men.

And then there are those young couples who get married and then 8 days later the wife pushes her husband off a cliff in Glacier National Park. Ouch!

I know I’m being super cavalier about a terrible thing, which isn’t very nice. Jordan Linn Graham, 22, has just been charged with murdering her husband Cody Lee Johnson, 25, by, yup, pushing him off a cliff in Glacier National Park in Montana on July 7, just 8 days after they said “I do.”

Now I bet he wishes he said “I don’t!”

Apparently home girl was having doubts about marriage. Which, you know, is fine. You could have just filed for a divorce. That’s usually the better solution.

At any rate, you know this will be on all the true crime shows within a month or so. Who will feature it first? Dateline, 48 Hours, or Snapped? I put money on Dateline.
